Do you have home projects that you procrastinate about and procrastinate about...??? I do. Did. Thankfully I knocked 4 of them off my to-do list today while I was home alone.
1. Sewed and hung a new everyday shower curtain.
2. Arranged a new bathroom flower arrangement for my cone (replacing the Christmas one--embarrassed).
3. Scrubbed the oil stains out of the carpet in my bedroom.
4. Replaced the caulk in the master bathroom sinks. Getting the old stuff out was a bear. But so worth it!
Sinks before and after.

{Post 1,227} Shirts Abound 12 Blocks Strong
I am such a wreck when I'm home alone. Worse than the home alone movie! So I decided to sew, sew, sew on these blocks and play music loudly. It's now after 10 PM and my son should be home from work relatively soon. Does our house make these weird, scary noises when my husband is home? I think not.
Here are 12 of the 20 blocks needed. I finally relented and replaced 2 of the fabrics in the top left block. It was now or never. The ones replaced were too light. Much better!

{Post 1,226} Shopping Cart Cover
Made this shopping cart cover for my favorite grandson tonight. I added a few things that were not in the pattern. I quilted the layers with straight lines, added the rickrack for attaching toys and am using regular binding on the leg holes (which is not sewn down by hand yet). Isn't the Clifford fabric so cute for a little boy?

{Post 1,225} Enchanted Purse
If you haven't seen the Disney movie, "Enchanted", you should. I love the scenes where Giselle has made dresses from the drapes, bedspread, etc. Here is my "enchanted" purse from this old worn-out jumper:
{Post 1,224} Shirts Abound Nearly Halfway
I need 20 4-point blocks for this quilt. Here are 9-1/2 of them. Nearly halfway. This sewing is so mindless...sew onto the paper...trim it down...rip off the paper...
{Post 1,223} Shooting Star with Texture
You all know I'm not a professional photographer. I'm not a professional anything. I have a hard time getting a good picture of the texture of a quilt after it's washed and dried. I'm sure it has to do with the lighting and angle and all. Here are the best two shots of my Shooting Star in all its post-washed-and-dried glory.

{Post 1,222} Shirts Abound is Growing
Don't want to go into too much detail, but I've been staying very close to my bed the past couple days due to an acute bout of nausea. I took a sleeve off of all my new shirts yesterday to add to my Shirts Abound stash.
Here are the blocks I have completed so far. Some of them will be going to my b-friend, Ruth.
The last two pics show two of my favorite blocks.
