In anticipation of my clips arriving, I started a fast mini. I solely blame Janet for this one because I saw it on her blog. Since I already had all the pieces cut out and languishing in my scrap parts drawer, it is going fast.
This measures 8-1/2" x 16-1/2" now. The other half is laid out and I have one row sewn.

What kind of clips do you need for the yardstick hangars? I can't quite tell from the photos.
