This will be a very short post. I hot glued buttons to my thumb tacks and this is the resulting new look for my picture bulletin board. Better? Suggestions for the empty spaces that don't involve more pictures??

Yep...better - it looks great. Do you want me to send you my picture too? I think I should be on the family board...maybe next to Emily! Lol...
You can pop out the back of the bulletin board and cover it with a thin layer of batting and some fabric to match your room or something neutral that would match all of your pictures. The other thing that would be cute would be to run some coordinating ribbon in a wide cross-hatch pattern and secure the crossovers with your button tacks. Then you can tuck in additional pictures, etc. easily.
