Here are the first 240 HSTs in their natural habitat.
It doesn’t look like much, but those are half of enough to get around an 88”-square quilt three deep. I will keep plugging away at the other 240. What I do it keep cutting up shirt scraps as they are available. I cut them facing a solid black so that I don’t have to fiddle with lining them up every time I pick up a pair.

Isn’t it glorious? I think so. I thought it would be fun to write a new blog post every time I work on blocks so you can see them coming together. I made two of them way back and pinned them to my bulletin board in my sewing room.

The black makes it very dynamic doesn't it!
