We're On Our Way

Yep--unbelievably enough, they accepted my offer. We are getting a nearly too-good-to-be-true vehicle (which just happens to be pictured in yesterday's post). Will be leaving in a few minutes to pick it up. Whoo-hoo!! Just in time for a trip to see my parents and sister in faraway Ohio next week. What a blessing!

We are in the market for a vehicle to replace our 15-passenger van. It has nearly 200,000 miles on it and needs extensive repairs. So expensive that it doesn't seem worthwhile putting a lot of money into it at this point.

Isaac and I went and looked at two Honda Pilots this afternoon. They seat eight, which is our minimum. My husband and I went into another city and looked at two other Pilots this evening.

We have never even entertained the idea of spending so much on a vehicle.

Having teenagers has its advantages. It's all about asking the right questions. Having the "what are you leaving out" mindset. Hahaha...
